Not only did the Irish band Amble decide to shoot the cover to the title track ‘Hand Me Downs’ at Annestown House, they also filmed the beautiful ‘Kaleidoscope’ video, utilising the unique historic interior rooms for the EP cover image and press shots. The nine bedroomed property provided ample background set options for the band to utilise.
This hugely popular folk band are on a SOLD OUT tour at the moment, not only in their native land of Ireland, but across the pond in the USA and Canada plus throughout venues in Europe. The trio have an infectious harmonious vibe that romantically exudes traditional Irish storytelling, late nights drinking pints of shamrock dented Guinness, arm in arm with loved ones and friends singing along with the tunes.
Annestown house provided idyllic location for Amble’s music video Kaleidoscope with the wild coastal backdrop the historic house faces out onto. The filmographer has added a retro high 8 film grade as if set a few decades ago matching the bands timeless carefree heritage sound.
